As Britain’s biggest tile and wood flooring specialist, Topps Tiles selected the 43 hectare Grove Park as the site for their headquarters and main distribution centre – benefiting from a central location and outstanding transport links. The design of the facility became the catalyst for the remaining commercial area of the park, and offers the capacity to accommodate up to 20 articulated heavy goods vehicles to be docked and loaded/unloaded consecutively. A number of technical achievements, including a 150,000ft² concrete floor slab being poured in a single operation, led to the development receiving a Building Craftmanship Award.
